Follow these steps to start creating
Most people are writing their first article within ten minutes of downloading.
Install Libril
Download the build for your platform and open it. On macOS, drag Libril to your Applications folder. On Windows, run the installer and accept the prompt. Libril is a normal desktop application — there is no browser extension and nothing that runs in the background.
Your licence key arrives by email the moment you purchase. Paste it into the app once and you are done; it never needs to be revalidated to keep working offline.
Set up your Anthropic account
Libril uses your own Anthropic API key, which is why your cost per article is wholesale rather than marked up. Create an account at console.anthropic.com, add a small amount of credit, and generate an API key.
Paste the key into Libril's settings and press Test Key. The status bubble turns green when the connection is live. The key is stored locally and is never transmitted to us.
$20 of Anthropic credit covers roughly thirteen fully researched articles. Set a monthly spend cap in the Anthropic console if you want a hard ceiling — Libril will respect it.

Create your first five articles free
Start a project, name it after the business or site you are writing for, and fill in the company overview and tone of voice. Libril can draft both for you from a URL if you would rather not write them yourself.
Then give it a topic and two sentences of intent, and press Write It Now. Research, outline, draft, self-edit, and humanize run in sequence. Ten to twelve minutes later you have a cited draft ready for your review, and ten to fifteen minutes of that review is usually all it needs.
